The programs in allied health sciences (paramedical sciences) are an effort to fill the gap of high demand UG and PG levels. The health and hospital management programs are not only a craze among healthcare professionals to relax and understand the diversification in other related areas but also an area with very high volumes of job with a different flavour. The Biosciences remain an emerging area of basic sciences with development in biomedical domain. The application of biotechnology which provided a solution in the form of covid vaccine to pandemic world is known to everyone.

- Candidates must have graduation with at least 45% aggregate marks (for Open category) and 40% aggregate marks (for Reserved category) science streams.

Bachelor of Hospital Administration (BHA)
This undergraduate program prepares students for careers in hospital administration by focusing on the oversight of hospital operations and strategic planning. Graduates learn to monitor and manage the hospital's financial, human resource, patient care, and quality control components. The program equips students with the tools to analyze healthcare data, understand healthcare regulations and laws, and address the challenges posed by technological advancements in the healthcare industry.
B.Sc. In Paramedical Medical Imaging Technology
B.Sc. Radiological Imaging Technology is a programme meticulously structured to impart in-depth advanced knowledge of Imaging methodologies and principles.
B.Sc. in Paramedical Optometry Technician
The programme has an integrated interdisciplinary content with relevant aspects of General Anatomy & Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology and Microbiology in the Basic Sciences and Physical, Geometrical, Dispensing, Visual and Optometric Optics in the Core courses.
B.Sc. in Paramedical Medical Laboratory Technology
The curriculum typically includes subjects like Clinical Biochemistry, Microbiology, Haematology, Immunology, Pathology, Histopathology, Blood Banking, Molecular Diagnostics, and Medical Ethics. Students may also study general subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Pharmacology.
B. Sc. Biotechnology
Biotechnology courses are a combination of Biology and Technology. Students gain an in-depth knowledge of Molecular Biology, Genetics, Cell Biology, Bioinformatics, Microbiology, Immunology, Bioprocess Engineering, Biochemistry, and Biostatistics from Biotechnology.
M.Sc. Radiology and Imaging Technology
The objective of the programme is to train students in to qualified, patient focused, compassionate, critical thinkers Diagnostic Radiographer / Technologist for the community who are engaged in lifelong learning.
Master of Hospital Administration (MHA)
An MHA degree provides graduates with a comprehensive understanding of healthcare delivery and financing. Students develop critical competencies in problem-solving, strategic thinking, and innovation, which are essential for leadership roles. The program emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical application, preparing graduates to effectively manage healthcare institutions and adapt to the evolving landscape of healthcare services
Master in Public Health (MPH)
The MPH program focuses on developing a diverse skill set, including strategic planning, financial management, healthcare policy analysis, and healthcare operations management. Graduates are trained to navigate complex healthcare systems, understand regulatory frameworks, and apply ethical principles to healthcare administration. The program aims to create professionals who are capable of leading public health initiatives, analyzing data, shaping policies, and responding to emerging health challenges in society.
INFRASTRUCTURE
1.) Lab Facilities
Department of Health and Biosciences lab is a high-tech facility that uses living organisms, cells, and biological systems to develop new products and solutions. Biosciences labs use a common lab equipment, and equipment specific to the lab's purpose. The School of Health and Biosciences has well equipped Biotechnology and Anatomy Laboratory. The Laboratory has enough clean and quiet places for all the students to perform practicals. The Laboratory has all the required glasswares, chemicals, media and instruments.
Biotechnology Lab

Biotechnology labs are used for a variety of processes, including analysing cultures
chemically and physically, protecting and stabilizing ingredients and microorganisms,
carrying out in vitro studies, and validating products. Biotechnology lab is equipped with a
variety of instruments and tools to support research, development, and commercialization.
Some common pieces of equipment present in biotechnology labs include:
UV-Vis Double Beam Spectrophotometer, Refrigerated Centrifuge, Autoclave and Hot air oven, Circulating Water Bath, Laminar Air Flow Cabinet, Deep Freezer, Electrophoretic Units, pH Meter, Water Distillation Unit.
Anatomy Lab

An anatomy lab is used to learn about the human body, including its structure, function, and
the interaction of its various parts. It deals with the study of cells, tissues and membranes that
make up our bodies and how our major systems function to help us develop and stay healthy.
The study of Anatomy includes the basic human body functions and life processes. Some
common pieces of equipment present in anatomy labs include:
Microscope (Monocular), Dissection Microscope, Microtome – Semi automatic, Paraffin Embedding Bath, Refrigerator, Hot Water Bath, Yarco Automatic Knife Sharpner, Oven, Trinocular microscope with screen, Dimond pencil.
