Diploma in Pharmacy
- Maharashtra State & Indian National Candidature Candidates, Must be an Indian national., Passed H.S.C. (Std. XII) of Maharashtra State Board or its equivalent examination. Minimum 35% aggregate marks. Must have studied the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics, English Candidates other than Maharashtra State are eligible only under Institute Quota. NRI / OCI / PIO / Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries / Foreign Nationals, Passed H.S.C. (Std. XII) or equivalent examination. Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Mathematics or Biology (Botany & Zoology) as one of the subjects. Admission subject to any other eligibility criteria declared from time to time by the Appropriate Authority as defined under the Act.
Bachelor of Pharmacy
- Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates, Must be an Indian citizen. Passed 10+2 (HSC) or equivalent examination with: English as one of the subjects, and Physics & Chemistry with Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects (individually). Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) as equivalent is also acceptable. Must have appeared in all subjects and obtained a non-zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.
- All India Candidature Candidates, Must be an Indian citizen. Passed 10+2 (HSC) or equivalent examination with: English as one of the subjects, and Physics & Chemistry with Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects (individually). Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) as equivalent is also acceptable. Must have: Obtained a non-zero positive score in CET, or Appeared in all subjects and obtained a non-zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. Preference shall be given to candidates with a non-zero positive score in NEET over candidates with CET score.

- For Maharashtra State Candidature & All India Candidature Candidates, Must be an Indian citizen. Passed Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) from: An Indian University established by law, and An institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Minimum Aggregate Marks (aggregate of all 4 years of B.Pharm.): 55% – General Category, 50% – Reserved / EWS / PwD (Maharashtra State only), Obtained non-zero positive score in GPAT conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Sponsored candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/company/industry/educational or research institute/Government department or Government autonomous organization in the relevant field.

Dr. Ganesh S. Andhale completed his B. Pharm. in 2008 from Pravara Rural College of Pharmacy, Pravaranagar (Pune University, Pune), M. Pharm. in 2010 from Acahrya & B M Reddy College of Pharmacy, (Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences [RGUHS], Bangalore), He earned his Ph. D. in 2019 from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru.
He also completed Professional Diploma in Clinical Research from Clinical Catalyst, Pune. He completed the Short Course in Educational Methodology from RGUHS, Bangalore. He has completed the course in Leadership and Team Effectiveness (offered by IIT, Roorkee) through NPTEL-Swayam portal of Govt. of India. He has completed Nurture Future Leadership Program from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. Presently, Dr. Ganesh S Andhale, is working as Professor & Dean-Incharge, and Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at ALARD University-School of Pharmacy, Pune. He is a recognized guide for post graduate and Ph. D. research in SPPU and ALARD University and guided 28 PG and 02 PhD students till and guiding 06 PhD Scholars at present. He has 2 patents in his name. His area of research includes prodrugs, codrugs design, Computer aided drug design, synthesis of various molecules of pharmacological interest and Analytical Method Development. He has published more than 35 + papers in international and national journals of repute, presented papers at various national and international conferences and seminars. He is the Resource person for Short Course in Educational Methodology by RGUHS, Bangalore. He is the reviewer for various Journals. He also worked in the Editorial Assistants team of Indian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (official publication of IPA). He has awarded with the Distinguished Alumni Award in 2018 from Alumni Association of Acharya Pharmacy, All-rounder faculty of the year 2021-22, Best HoD of the year 2022-23, Best Teacher (PG Category) of Year 2023-24 during ALARDs Foundation Day, “Best Pharmacist of the Year 2021” award in the Teachers Category from Association of All India Register Pharmacist Maharashtra state. He was the Co-opt Member of the IPA-Karnataka State Branch. He was also an Executive Council [EC] Member of Indian Pharmaceutical Association [IPA] Peenya branch. Presently he is the Co-opt Member of the IPA-Pune Local branch. Under his leadership IPA Pune branch has conducting 64th NPW event in association with all colleges in Pune. Dr. Ganesh received grants for research & Seminar from ICMR, RGUHS, Micro labs Pvt Ltd and SPPU, Pune. Dr. Ganesh has successfully organized RGUHS and ICMR sponsored National level Seminar on “Advanced and Innovative Techniques in Computational Drug Discovery”. He is the Life Member of IPA, APTI, and ISTE.

With multiple patents, research publications, and mentoring contributions, I remain committed to advancing pharmaceutical science and delivering impactful healthcare solutions.
With over 29 years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation development and advanced drug delivery systems, He lead strategic R&D initiatives focused on innovation, efficiency, and scientific excellence.
Throughout my career, He has held senior leadership positions in globally recognized pharmaceutical organizations, contributing to the development and commercialization of numerous sterile and oral formulations for regulated and domestic markets. He also pioneered several proprietary drug delivery platforms and actively promotes data-driven approaches such as Quality-by-Design (QbD).

Dr. Madhuri U. Shelar

Dr. Madhuri U. Shelar is a dedicated academician and researcher at the ALARD School of Pharmacy, ALARD University, Pune, known for her strong academic background and extensive research contributions in pharmaceutical sciences. She completed her M. Pharm in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Pune University in 2011 and was awarded a Ph.D. from BharatiVidyapeeth University, Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune in 2019.
She has more than 12 years of professional experience, including academic, research, and industry exposure.
Her professional journey includes working as a Research Fellow at Poona College of Pharmacy and gaining industry experience as a Junior Chemist in Quality Control at Omni Protech Drugs Pvt. Ltd., Pune. Her expertise spans analytical method development and validation, herbal drug standardization, phytochemical analysis, and pharmaceutical research. She has hands-on experience with sophisticated analytical instruments such as HPLC, HPTLC, FT-IR, UV Spectroscopy, and other pharmaceutical analysis equipment, contributing significantly to research and academic training.
