Overview
Our M.Pharm program is a two year postgraduate course designed for students who wish to specialize in specific areas of Pharmaceutics and Quality Assurance Techniques. The curriculum is research-oriented, encouraging innovation and advanced study. The program emphasizes both academic and practical learning, enabling students to contribute to the development of new drugs, therapies, and healthcare solutions.
The M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutics programme at ALARD School of Pharmacy, ALARD University, Pune is an advanced postgraduate programme aimed at developing skilled formulation scientists and pharmaceutical researchers.
The programme provides in-depth knowledge ofadvanced dosage forms, novel drug delivery systems, biopharmaceutics, pharmaceutical product development, scale-up, and technology transfer. Students gain strong research skills and practical expertise in formulation development and optimization.
The curriculum integrates advanced theory with extensive laboratory training and a research-based dissertation. Teaching methodologies include experimental learning, design-based projects, seminars, literature reviews, and hands-on training with modern formulation and analytical tools.
Graduates can pursue careers as Formulation Scientist, R&D Executive, Product Development Associate, Technology Transfer Specialist, and research professionals in pharmaceutical industries, CROs, and academic institutions. The programme also prepares students for Ph.D. and research-oriented careers.

Eligibility
- For Maharashtra State Candidature & All India Candidature Candidates, Must be an Indian citizen. Passed Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) from: An Indian University established by law, and An institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Minimum Aggregate Marks (aggregate of all 4 years of B.Pharm.): 55% – General Category, 50% – Reserved / EWS / PwD (Maharashtra State only), Obtained non-zero positive score in GPAT conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Sponsored candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/company/industry/educational or research institute/Government department or Government autonomous organization in the relevant field.
