Dr. Samrat Ray

Dr. Samrat Ray is a distinguished Global Academician with over 20 years of international academic and corporate experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Peter the Great Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University, Russian Federation—ranked among the world’s top 100 universities—and was awarded the prestigious Russian Government Fellowship.

Dr. Ray has authored more than 200 Scopus-indexed, high-impact research publications in globally recognized journals such as Springer, Frontiers, Routledge, and Sage, along with 15 national and international patents. He has also authored and edited over 20 books and book chapters.

As a keynote speaker, Dr. Ray has addressed leading global forums and corporate events. His leadership journey spans across the Middle East, Europe, and Russia, where he has served as a researcher, professor, and administrative head.

A well-networked academic leader, Dr. Ray’s expertise lies in Institutional Building, Global Research Collaborations, and Developmental Economics with applications of Data Science. He is also associated with the University of South Florida, USA, as a Postdoctoral Fellow, focusing on Data Science applications for poverty eradication.

With over 4,000 research citations and an H-index of 34, Dr. Ray has collaborated extensively with international scholars on research related to Climate Change, Energy, and Sustainability. He has received multiple awards for his outstanding contributions in academic research, institutional development, teaching, and mentorship, including the Young Data Scientist Award 2025 by Business World, Mumbai.
