Short Brief About the Program
Artificial Intelligence will be part of our future, it’s inevitable.
The department of AI & ML focuses on cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and
Machine Learning (ML). Our department offers comprehensive courses to empower students with
knowledge and skills in AI and ML. We emphasize ethics, privacy, and responsible AI practices to ensure
the development of socially beneficial AI solutions. Graduates from our department are well-prepared to
excel in industry, academia, and entrepreneurship, making a positive impact in the world of AI and ML.
The B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning offered by ALARD University with an intake of
120 seats, is one of the leading artificial intelligence courses in Pune. B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is a 4 year undergraduate degree program in the engineering stream. In this course, students are taught how to write the code of the said machine.
This code works as a guiding instruction for machines so that machines can perform tasks with less human
interaction. The UG program's objective is to create exceptionally well AI and ML engineers who will
transform the world through creative AI and ML solutions.
B.Tech – CSE (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning)
The program equips students with advanced knowledge in machine learning algorithms, intelligent automation, and AI system development.
Graduates can design, implement, and optimise intelligent systems using modern machine learning techniques and AI frameworks.

Salient Features of the Program
- Well equipped state–of-the-art laboratories with total investment of INR 1 crore.
- Active Entrepreneur Development cell to develop employer skills among students. During vacations, students go for industry training and enhance their knowledge in various fields.
- Provision of semester-long internship with 24 credits for final year students, besides summer/winter vacation internships and project stages from semester 1.
- Provision of Entrepreneurship in the programme.

Eligibility
- Applicable to Maharashtra State, All India, UT of Jammu & Kashmir / UT of Ladakh Migrant Candidates, Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- 10+2 (HSC) / Equivalent – PCM, Physics & Mathematics compulsory + one approved subject 45% marks (40% for Reserved/EWS/PwD – Maharashtra only) Appeared in PCM CET conducted by component authority with non-zero score.
- Eligible for all B.Tech programmes 10+2 (HSC) / Equivalent – PCB, Physics & Chemistry compulsory + one approved subject 45% marks (40% for Reserved/EWS/PwD – Maharashtra only) Appeared in PCB CET / JEE with non-zero score. Eligible for specified B.Tech programmes (Agriculture, Biotechnology, Food, Pharma, Packaging, Printing, Fashion, Textile, Leather)
- Note: PCB students are also eligible for admission to any B.Tech programme, irrespective of the subjects studied in Class 12, provided they qualify the relevant National-level or University-level entrance examination for that programme. The University may offer bridge courses, wherever required, to address academic gaps. Diploma / D.Voc. 3-year Diploma in Engineering & Technology – 45% marks (40% for Reserved/EWS/PwD – Maharashtra only) 3-year Diploma of Vocation (D.Voc.) in the same or allied sector Admission is subject to rules and guidelines issued by the Competent / Appropriate Authority from time to time.
Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry)
- (For Maharashtra State & All India Candidature Candidates Candidate must be an Indian citizen. Eligible Qualifications, Diploma in Engineering & Technology, Passed minimum 3-year Diploma or 2-year Diploma (Lateral Entry). From AICTE / Central Govt. / State Govt. approved institution or equivalent, Minimum Marks: 45% (General Category), 40% (Reserved / EWS / PwD – Maharashtra State only).
- B.Sc. Degree Passed B.Sc. Degree from a UGC / AIU recognised University Minimum Marks: 45% (General Category), 40% (Reserved / EWS / PwD – Maharashtra State only), Must have passed HSC or equivalent with Mathematics as a subject.
- Diploma of Vocation (D.Voc.), Passed 3-year D.Voc. programme, In the same or allied sector.
- Admission is subject to any other eligibility criteria and requirements prescribed from time to time by the Appropriate Authority as defined under the Act.
