Welcome to the School of Interdisciplinary Research at the ALARD UNIVERSITY PUNE. This is an exciting time of development and innovation within the University. As we enter a new year, we look forward to another exciting period of intellectual discovery, creativity, and the robust exchange of ideas along with Research & Development. The first words of the AUP’s mission statement are to “creating knowledge with a completely different learning delivery model.” This is a vital feature of our university community because kindling curiosity is a vital spark that fuels new questions, inspires novel ideas and connections, and nourishes intellectual and personal growth. There are numerous ways for all of us-students, faculty, and staff- to excite the curiosity that drives discovery and innovation, from the AUP robust learning provisions, to upcoming innovations workshops, FDPs and problem based research. The School of Interdisciplinary Research is made better through diverse perspectives focused on advancing our mission for the good of students, scholars and to increase the impact of our research on the world. Curiosity and thoughtful, critical thinking helps organizations innovate, flourish, and grow. According to me, year 2024-25 will be a year of consequence for Alard family, Bharat and indeed the world in terms of exploring the new avenues in the field of research and innovation.
