Lab Facilities

  1. Physical Pharmacy Laboratory

This lab focuses on the formulation, development, and testing of pharmaceutical dosage forms like tablets, capsules, ointments, and syrups. Students learn about drug delivery systems, manufacturing techniques, and quality control procedures to ensure the safety and efficacy of medications.

  1. Pharmaceutical Microbiology Laboratory

The microbiology lab allows students to study microorganisms, their role in health and disease, and their use in pharmaceutical production (e.g., antibiotics, vaccines). Students learn sterile techniques, microbial culture, and methods of preventing contamination.

  1. Pharmacognosy Laboratory

Dedicated to the study of natural drugs derived from plants and other organisms, this lab helps students analyze medicinal plants, extract active constituents, and understand herbal drug formulation. It also promotes research in traditional medicines.

  1. Pharmacology Laboratory

This lab provides students with an understanding of human anatomy and physiological functions. Using models and dissections, students explore the structure and functioning of different organs and systems, crucial for understanding the interaction of drugs in the human body.

  1. Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry Laboratory

It is dedicated to the study and manipulation of organic compounds, which form the basis of most pharmaceutical drugs. This lab focuses on the synthesis, purification, Identification and Characterization and Reaction Mechanism Studies used in medicinal chemistry and drug development.

  1. Pharmaceutical Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory

This Laboratory is dedicated to the study of inorganic compounds and their applications in pharmaceuticals. This laboratory plays a key role in helping pharmacy students understand the properties, limit test, and analysis of inorganic substances, many of which are used as excipients, catalysts, or therapeutic agents in drug formulations.

  1. Quality Assurance Technique Laboratory-Reseach Lab

It is dedicated to training students in various methods for testing, analyzing, validation and maintaining the quality of pharmaceutical products.

  1. Pharmaceutics-Research Laboratory

Research Laboratory is a critical space designed to foster innovation, experimentation, and development in pharmaceutical sciences. It provides students, researchers, and faculty with the tools and environment needed to conduct advanced research in drug discovery, formulation, and analysis.

  1. Pharmacognosy Laboratory (D.Pharm)

This lab is dedicated to focuses on the study of medicinal plants and natural products. This laboratory plays a crucial role in teaching students about the identification, extraction, and analysis of bioactive compounds from plants, which form the basis of many traditional and modern medicines.

  1. Social Pharmacy laboratory (D.Pharm)

The Social Pharmacy Laboratory is designed to focus on the relationship between pharmacy practice and society. It is a unique facility where students learn about the social, behavioral, and community aspects of healthcare, emphasizing the role of pharmacists in promoting public health and wellness.

  1. Pharmaceutical Chemistry laboratory (D.Pharm)

This lab is dedicated to explore chemical reactions, drug synthesis, and the analysis of chemical compounds used in pharmaceuticals. The lab is equipped for both organic and inorganic chemistry experiments, helping students understand drug composition and interaction.

  1. Instrument laboratory

The Instrument Laboratory is a specialized facility designed to train students in the use of advanced analytical instruments for ensuring the quality, safety, and efficacy of pharmaceutical products. This laboratory provides practical exposure to the various instruments and techniques used in the analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products.

ABOUT PROGRAM

Short Brief About the Program
